Welcome to
Village Republican Women

VRWC logo

Federated in 1961 and located in Houston, Texas, The Village Republican Women's Club (VRWC) has supported Republican candidates and principles since its inception. Our members provide financial as well as volunteer support at local and state levels. Individually members are also involved in national issues and campaigns. We are a force in Harris County and the state of Texas due to the relationships we have formed with elected officials, our knowledge of key issues and the tireless work of VRWC members. Republican candidates, as well as party insiders and officials, find it important to schedule appearances at our monthly meetings.

Through the years, voter registration has been a prime focus of our club. We have participated in block walks and set up booths in various locations, all to encourage more of our neighbors to become involved in the political process. We have stuffed bags with campaign literature, hosted candidate forums, manned phone banks and assisted in Get Out the Vote (GOTV) projects, all in an effort to promote Republican causes. Won't you join us?

NFRW Armed Services Committee Announces A New Project
Military Children
Caring For Hospitalized Military Children
Being hospitalized can be a scary thing for adults; but for children, the hours without someone they know being with them can be so very lonely and confusing.  Our goal is to give hospitalized children in military hospitals a special friend that they can have with them all the time.

Please bring to the February Village Republican Women’s meeting at Vargo’s a stuffed animal for these precious children.  Because of Valentines Day there will be an abundance of cute bears, but any animal will do.  Some stores put seasonal stuffed animals on sale after a holiday so you might want to purchase several.  The animals can be of any size, but please remember, for health reasons, that all contributions must be newly purchased.
